WE RECYCLE OUR TEXTILE WASTE INTO VALUABLE RESOURCES
Moving towards a more sustainable textile industry requires profound changes in how we design and manage our collections. In our first capsule collection - Close the Loop, we see waste as an opportunity. We have recycled our post-industrial waste to source new yarn and knit a 100% recycled and recyclable fabric.
We are committed to reducing our waste, maximising the use of resources and extending the lifespan of our items.
We invite customers to return our items to the "mother house" to "close the loop". This way, we can take care of them again and give them a new life so that other children can wear them or, as a last resort, recycle them and transform them into valuable resources.
The fabric we used in this capsule collection is 100% recycled and recyclable. Its composition contains 20% surplus raw material from Play Up and 80% waste from our guarantor partner.
All the items in this collection have been designed for maximum longevity, as well as adapting to the child's growth. Some of them are designed to be transformed into new items when they are no longer suitable.
We have chosen the natural colour of the yarn, significantly reducing water, chemical and energy consumption. This way, we decrease the use of natural raw materials and contribute to the circularity of our products.
