Sustainable boys' clothing: from organic cotton to secondhand

From 3 to 14, clothes go through everything: the playground, sport, holidays, sudden growth spurts. At Play Up we believe that's exactly why they should be made to last — and to keep on serving once he's outgrown them. In this section we bring together the four lines that take that commitment furthest: organic cotton boys' clothing, the RE(PLAY) collection in recycled fibres, Circular Design pieces made to return to the cycle, and 2nd Hand clothing checked piece by piece. All designed and made in Portugal following the slow making philosophy.

Why children's clothes should be sustainable

A piece that survives a whole year of knees on the ground and weekly washes, and then gets passed on to a brother or another family, is worth more than three pieces that don't make it to the end of the season. Choosing organic and recycled fibres, reinforced seams and timeless design is the simplest way to dress well and use fewer resources. From t-shirts for boys to everyday boys' trousers, every choice counts.
