Creating with clay is an extension of ourselves, an art in which our conscious and unconscious ideas and desires are silently expressed.
Madalena Telo is our guest artist. Born among ceramicists, she has developed a practice that stands out for its authenticity.
Her roots are evident in every pore of her pieces. She extracts clay herself in the Monchique mountains, in the south of Portugal, and works it by hand, constantly exploring natural shapes and textures. She likes to create utilitarian pieces, but always with a sculptural touch.
When we mold clay, we interact with the earth to create something that never existed.
This entire theme inspired the creation of a collection that stands out for the harmony of tones, shapes and illustrations in tune with a full state of mind.
