The art of wood carving is once again an inspiration. Under the theme “Wooden Memories”, we created the story of this autumn/winter collection.
Maria and João, who make up the So-So duo, are our guest artists. Both of them are architects by training and are passionate about Portugal, its history and traditions. They create objects inspired by Portuguese expressions and sayings and are fascinated by simple, timeless pieces that can stimulate young people’s imagination.
Wood allows us to create unique and timeless pieces in an incredible mix of colours, veins and textures.
The wood they use in their creations comes from trees that need to be felled or damaged by storms and fires. This is their way of embracing circularity, giving a new lease of life to wood that would otherwise be dumped or burnt.
